JOHN TEHRANI (MCIAT)Director

John brings a wealth of architectural expertise to OakAcre Land, drawing on his experience of running a successful chartered architectural practice in Yorkshire, jkt Architecture. With a long-standing career focused on residential design, he has a strong track record of creating high-quality, high-value homes that enhance both place and community.
As OakAcre Land’s Design Lead, John oversees the vision and layout of every site we promote. His deep understanding of residential development, combined with his ability to identify a site’s true design potential, plays a critical role in maximising land value and securing successful planning outcomes. John’s passion for thoughtful, commercially sound design ensures that each project we deliver is not only attractive on paper, but strategically positioned to achieve the best possible return for the landowners we partner with.

JAMES ROBERTS (MRTPI)Director

James brings a strong academic foundation and a wealth of practical planning expertise to OakAcre Land. As a chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) for over 10 years, he has built extensive experience advising clients across both the public and private sectors, giving him a well rounded understanding of how planning policy and decision-making really work.
Alongside his role at OakAcre Land, James also runs his own successful planning consultancy practice, JR Planning, based in South Yorkshire. His work supporting a wide range of residential and rural developments further deepens the insight he brings to our projects.
As OakAcre Land’s Planning Lead, James plays a crucial role in guiding each project from initial concept through to planning approval. His ability to translate design proposals into robust, policy-aligned planning strategies ensures a smooth and efficient transition between the design and planning stages. Drawing on years of hands-on experience with residential development, James identifies risks early, manages consultants effectively, and shapes applications that stand the strongest chance of success.
His expertise adds significant value to every site we promote, helping to secure the right permissions, unlock development potential and ultimately deliver better outcomes, and stronger land values, for our clients.
